The crop conversion Vietnam 's cotton production has shrunk by more than 50%

Farmers turned to a more favorable planting crops , such as corn, sugar cane and soybean paste result in a decrease of 56% of this year's cotton production in Vietnam , the U.S. Department of Agriculture said .

According to reports, the end of the cotton season on July 31 , Vietnam's cotton production fell from 5880 tons a year ago to 2570 tons , this is because the area under cultivation from 12,500 hectares in the same period last year dropped to 5210 hectares .

The report also said that cotton production in the cotton season will rise to 2960 tons . The world 's economic decline led to the apparel and textile industry , decline in demand will lead to the decline in the imports of cotton quarter , down 8.1 % ,internet speed test, to 250,150 tons in the previous year dropped to 23 million tons ,Arts & Humanities.

Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group intends to invest 3.5 trillion VND , expansion of cotton acreage in the three hilly province in central Vietnam .
